Brand: Find It All (FIA)
1. Our Accessibility Commitment
Find It All (“FIA”) believes people should have a meaningful opportunity to discover businesses, access information and interact with FIA regardless of disability.
We are committed to identifying, preventing and reducing accessibility barriers within the areas of FIA that we control.
Accessibility is an ongoing process.
As FIA develops, we intend to continue improving the accessibility of:
our website;
digital content;
forms;
communications;
customer support;
business resources;
policies;
Platform functionality; and
services.
2. Who Operates FIA
Find It All (FIA) is a brand under Innovara Marketing Inc.
Innovara Marketing Inc. owns, operates and manages FIA.
References to “FIA,” “Find It All,” “we,” “us” or “our” refer to Innovara Marketing Inc. operating the FIA brand unless another party is specifically identified.
3. Ontario Accessibility Framework
Innovara Marketing Inc. is based in Ontario, Canada.
FIA considers applicable accessibility requirements, including requirements that may apply under the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2005 (AODA) and its accessibility standards.
The exact legal obligations applicable to an organization may depend on factors such as:
organization type;
number of employees;
services provided;
location;
technology; and
other circumstances.
FIA will apply requirements that legally apply to Innovara Marketing Inc.
4. Accessibility Is More Than Website Compliance
Digital accessibility is important, but accessibility can involve more than a website.
Barriers may involve:
technology;
communication;
information;
processes;
customer service;
forms;
policies;
attitudes;
procedures; or
physical interactions where applicable.
FIA aims to consider accessibility across the user experience.
DIGITAL ACCESSIBILITY
5. Website Accessibility
FIA aims to make its website and digital services reasonably accessible to people with disabilities.
Accessibility considerations may include:
keyboard navigation;
readable text;
meaningful headings;
alternative text;
colour contrast;
understandable forms;
labels and instructions;
link clarity;
responsive design;
zoom and text resizing;
error identification;
multimedia alternatives; and
compatibility with assistive technologies.
6. Accessibility Standard Used as a Reference
FIA uses the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) as an important accessibility reference.
As the Platform develops, FIA intends to work toward accessibility practices generally consistent with WCAG Level AA principles, where reasonably applicable to FIA’s technology and content.
This statement is not a certification that every FIA page or feature currently satisfies every WCAG success criterion.
Actual accessibility should be assessed through technical review and testing.
7. Ontario Website Requirements
Where Ontario law requires a particular FIA website or web-content standard based on Innovara Marketing Inc.’s applicable organizational status and employee threshold, FIA will apply the legally required standard.
FIA may voluntarily adopt accessibility practices beyond its minimum legal obligation.
8. New Website Development
When FIA creates or materially modifies website functionality, accessibility should be considered during:
design;
development;
content creation;
form creation;
testing;
quality assurance; and
future updates.
Accessibility should not be treated only as a final-stage correction.
KEYBOARD ACCESS
9. Keyboard Navigation
Where reasonably practicable, important FIA functionality should be usable without requiring a mouse.
This may include:
navigation;
links;
buttons;
forms;
menus;
account functions; and
important interactive controls.
Keyboard focus should be reasonably visible where technically supported.
SCREEN READERS
10. Semantic Structure
FIA aims to use meaningful:
headings;
labels;
page titles;
field descriptions;
navigation structures; and
semantic elements
to improve compatibility with assistive technologies such as screen readers.
11. Images
Meaningful images should have appropriate alternative text where reasonably practical.
Decorative images should not unnecessarily interfere with screen-reader navigation.
12. Complex Images
Where an image contains important information that cannot reasonably be communicated through short alternative text, FIA may provide:
surrounding explanatory text;
a longer description; or
another accessible alternative
where appropriate.
TEXT AND VISUAL PRESENTATION
13. Readability
FIA aims to present important information in a clear and understandable manner.
Where reasonably possible, this includes attention to:
font size;
spacing;
contrast;
headings;
content structure; and
readable language.
14. Colour
Important information should not depend solely on colour where doing so would prevent users with colour-vision differences from understanding the information.
For example, an error should not be indicated only by changing a field from one colour to another without additional information.
15. Zoom and Resizing
FIA aims to avoid unnecessary design choices that prevent users from enlarging text or zooming website content using ordinary browser accessibility features.
FORMS
16. Accessible Forms
FIA forms should, where reasonably practical, include:
understandable field labels;
clear required-field indicators;
instructions;
useful error messages;
logical navigation;
appropriate button descriptions; and
reasonable keyboard accessibility.
17. Error Messages
Where a form submission fails, FIA should attempt to identify:
that an error occurred;
the affected field; and
what the user may need to correct.
Users should not be required to rely only on colour to identify an error.
18. CAPTCHA and Security Controls
Security controls can sometimes create accessibility barriers.
Where FIA uses CAPTCHA, bot detection or another security mechanism, FIA should consider accessible alternatives where reasonably available and appropriate.
Security requirements will still be maintained where necessary to protect FIA and its users.
MULTIMEDIA
19. Video
Where FIA publishes important prerecorded video content, FIA should consider accessibility measures such as:
captions;
transcripts;
text summaries; or
other appropriate alternatives
depending on the nature and purpose of the content.
20. Audio
Where important information is provided primarily through audio, FIA should consider providing a text alternative where reasonably practicable.
21. Social Media
FIA also publishes through third-party social-media platforms.
The accessibility of those platforms is partly controlled by the respective platform provider.
Where available, FIA may use features such as:
captions;
alternative text;
readable on-screen text; and
descriptive captions
to improve accessibility of FIA-created content.
DOCUMENTS
22. PDFs and Downloadable Documents
FIA may publish:
PDFs;
forms;
agreements;
guides;
brochures;
reports; or
other downloadable material.
Where reasonably practical and appropriate, FIA aims to improve accessibility through measures such as:
selectable text;
structured headings;
logical reading order;
document titles;
descriptive links; and
accessible source formats.
23. Alternative Formats
If you cannot reasonably access an FIA document because of a disability, contact FIA.
Where required by applicable law or reasonably practicable, FIA will work with you to determine an appropriate accessible format or communication support.
This could include, depending on the material and circumstances:
accessible digital text;
larger text;
plain-text format;
another electronic format; or
another reasonable communication support.
24. Timing
Where an accessible format or communication support must be created, the time required may depend on:
complexity;
length;
source format;
requested format;
available technology; and
third-party dependencies.
FIA will make reasonable efforts to respond appropriately and will comply with any applicable legal timeline.
CUSTOMER SERVICE
25. Accessible Customer Service
FIA aims to provide services in a manner that respects the:
dignity;
independence;
integration; and
equal opportunity
of persons with disabilities.
Where a person requires reasonable accommodation to communicate with FIA or access an FIA-controlled service, they may contact us.
26. Communication
When communicating with a person with a disability, FIA will make reasonable efforts to take the person’s communication needs into account.
This may include communicating through:
email;
telephone;
accessible electronic text; or
another reasonable method
depending on the circumstances.
27. Assistive Devices
People may use their own assistive technologies or devices when accessing FIA services, subject to legitimate:
security;
privacy;
technical; and
safety requirements.
28. Support Persons
Where an in-person FIA-controlled service or interaction occurs and applicable accessibility requirements apply, FIA will accommodate support persons as required by applicable law.
FIA will not unnecessarily separate a person with a disability from their support person.
Privacy considerations may require the person’s consent before confidential information is discussed in front of a support person.
29. Service Animals
Where FIA controls a physical customer-service environment and applicable accessibility requirements apply, FIA will address the use of service animals according to applicable law.
Because FIA is primarily a digital platform, this provision applies only where relevant to an FIA-controlled physical service environment.
THIRD-PARTY BUSINESSES
30. Independent Businesses on FIA
Businesses listed on FIA are generally independent businesses.
FIA does not control the accessibility of every:
store;
office;
website;
service;
facility;
booking system; or
communication method
operated by those businesses.
31. Accessibility Information on Business Profiles
Where FIA offers relevant profile fields, businesses may be able to describe accessibility information about their own locations or services.
Businesses remain responsible for ensuring that statements they make about accessibility are accurate and not misleading.
32. Verify Important Accessibility Requirements
If you require a particular accommodation from an independent business, we recommend contacting that business directly before visiting or purchasing.
For example, you may wish to confirm:
accessible entrance;
elevator availability;
accessible washroom;
parking;
service animal accommodation;
communication supports;
seating;
sensory accommodations; or
other specific needs.
A business listing on FIA does not automatically mean FIA has independently verified all accessibility features.
THIRD-PARTY TECHNOLOGY
33. External Services
FIA may use or link to third-party technologies such as:
payment providers;
maps;
video platforms;
social networks;
booking systems;
forms;
embedded content; or
other services.
FIA does not have complete control over the accessibility of an independent third-party service.
34. Reporting Third-Party Barriers
If an FIA integration creates an accessibility barrier, you may report it to FIA.
Where reasonably possible, we may:
investigate;
change configuration;
offer another route;
raise the issue with the provider; or
consider an alternative technology.
KNOWN LIMITATIONS
35. FIA Is an Evolving Platform
FIA is an early-stage and developing Platform.
Some accessibility barriers may therefore exist despite our accessibility goals.
Potential barriers may arise from:
legacy code;
themes;
third-party plugins;
user-submitted content;
embedded services;
PDFs;
videos;
external integrations; or
newly introduced functionality.
36. We Want Barriers Reported
If you encounter an accessibility problem, please tell us.
Reports help FIA identify problems that may not have been detected through ordinary development or testing.
ACCESSIBILITY FEEDBACK
37. Accessibility Feedback Process
Users may provide feedback concerning:
website accessibility;
inaccessible forms;
documents;
videos;
account functions;
keyboard navigation;
screen-reader issues;
colour contrast;
communication barriers;
accessible-format requests; or
another accessibility issue.
38. Information to Include
If possible, include:
your name;
email;
affected page or feature;
page URL;
device/browser if relevant;
assistive technology used, if you wish to tell us;
description of the barrier; and
the format or accommodation that would help.
Providing disability or medical information is not required unless it is genuinely necessary for the requested accommodation.
39. Do Not Send Unnecessary Medical Information
Please do not submit:
detailed medical records;
diagnoses;
health histories; or
other unnecessary sensitive information
through the ordinary accessibility feedback form.
FIA generally needs to understand the barrier and requested accommodation, not a person’s complete medical history.
40. Accessibility Complaints
Where the issue cannot be resolved through ordinary feedback, users may submit an accessibility complaint through the FIA Policy, Privacy & Legal Enquiry Form.
FIA may investigate the barrier and determine what corrective action is reasonably appropriate.
NO RETALIATION
41. Accessibility Requests
FIA will not intentionally penalize a person merely because they:
identify an accessibility barrier;
request an accessible format;
request reasonable accommodation; or
make a legitimate accessibility complaint.
This does not prevent FIA from addressing abusive, fraudulent or threatening communications.
PROCUREMENT AND DEVELOPMENT
42. Accessibility in Technology Decisions
Where reasonably practical, FIA should consider accessibility when selecting or materially changing:
website themes;
plugins;
forms;
CRM tools;
customer-service systems;
content tools;
payment interfaces; and
other technologies affecting users.
43. Accessibility Testing
FIA may use a combination of:
automated accessibility testing;
manual review;
keyboard testing;
screen-reader testing;
user feedback; and
external technical review
as appropriate.
Automated testing alone does not identify every accessibility barrier.
FUTURE FEATURES
44. New FIA Functions
As FIA introduces new functionality, accessibility should be considered before public release where reasonably practicable.
This may include future:
business dashboards;
advanced profiles;
Affiliate systems;
Marketplace functions;
seller tools;
checkout;
messaging;
CRM features; or
mobile applications.
45. Marketplace Accessibility
Marketplace functionality is not treated as active merely because it is referenced in FIA planning or policy documents.
If FIA activates Marketplace functionality, accessibility should be considered in areas such as:
product discovery;
seller pages;
forms;
cart;
checkout;
transaction information; and
dispute processes.
ACCESSIBILITY AND EMPLOYMENT
46. Employment Accessibility
If Innovara Marketing Inc. hires employees and applicable employment accessibility requirements apply, the company will address those obligations separately through its employment and internal accessibility processes.
This public statement does not replace employee-specific accessibility policies.
ACCESSIBILITY RECORDS AND PRIVACY
47. Personal Information
Information submitted through an accessibility request may constitute personal information.
Innovara Marketing Inc. handles that information according to FIA’s Privacy Policy and applicable law.
48. Minimize Sensitive Information
FIA aims to collect only the information reasonably necessary to:
understand the barrier;
communicate with the requester;
provide an accommodation where appropriate; and
document the response.
CHANGES TO THIS STATEMENT
49. Updates
FIA may update this Accessibility Statement when:
the Platform changes;
accessibility practices improve;
new barriers are identified;
organizational requirements change;
accessibility law changes; or
FIA introduces new services.
The current version will display its Last Updated date.
