Last Updated: 30th September 2026

1. Purpose

This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) establishes the rules for appropriate use of Find It All (“FIA”).

Its purpose is to protect:

  • FIA users;

  • consumers;

  • businesses;

  • FIA Service Partners;

  • Affiliates;

  • Innovara Marketing Inc.;

  • FIA systems;

  • data;

  • content;

  • Platform integrity; and

  • the wider community

from unlawful, deceptive, abusive, unsafe or malicious conduct.

This AUP supplements FIA’s Terms of Service.

Where another FIA policy or program agreement establishes additional rules for a particular activity, those additional rules also apply.

2. Who This Policy Applies To

This Policy applies to anyone using or interacting with FIA where applicable, including:

  • visitors;

  • account holders;

  • consumers;

  • listed businesses;

  • business owners;

  • authorized representatives;

  • reviewers;

  • Affiliates;

  • FIA Service Partners;

  • advertisers;

  • Business Story participants;

  • contractors or program participants using FIA systems;

  • future Marketplace buyers and sellers where activated; and

  • anyone accessing FIA technology, forms, content or services.

3. Activities Covered

This Policy applies to use of:

  • FIA accounts;

  • business listings;

  • business profiles;

  • listing submissions;

  • business claims;

  • verification workflows;

  • reviews;

  • ratings;

  • comments;

  • forms;

  • uploaded files;

  • Business Stories;

  • communications;

  • referral links;

  • Affiliate systems;

  • Service Partner systems;

  • direct FIA services;

  • integrations;

  • APIs if offered;

  • future Marketplace functionality;

  • FIA intellectual property; and

  • any other FIA function that links to this Policy.

4. General Rule

Do not use FIA to engage in conduct that is:

  • unlawful;

  • fraudulent;

  • deceptive;

  • abusive;

  • malicious;

  • unsafe;

  • exploitative;

  • materially misleading;

  • privacy-invasive;

  • technically harmful; or

  • intended to undermine the integrity of FIA.

You must also not deliberately exploit:

  • a technical loophole;

  • policy gap;

  • incomplete feature;

  • beta feature;

  • configuration error; or

  • other unintended behaviour

to defeat the reasonable purpose of an FIA rule.

FRAUD, MISREPRESENTATION AND IMPERSONATION

5. Fraudulent Activity

You must not use FIA to commit, facilitate, assist or conceal fraud.

This includes attempts to obtain:

  • money;

  • services;

  • data;

  • Platform access;

  • commissions;

  • discounts;

  • verification;

  • account control;

  • customer information; or

  • another benefit

through materially false or deceptive means.

6. Impersonation

You must not falsely impersonate:

  • another individual;

  • a business owner;

  • an employee;

  • an authorized representative;

  • a professional;

  • a regulator;

  • a government authority;

  • an FIA Service Partner;

  • an FIA Affiliate;

  • Innovara Marketing Inc.;

  • FIA staff; or

  • another organization.

You must not use another person’s identity or business information in a manner intended to create false authority or deceive users.

7. Unauthorized Business Claims

You must not claim or attempt to control a business profile if you are not authorized to represent or manage that business.

You must not:

  • forge authorization;

  • impersonate an owner;

  • hijack a business profile;

  • deliberately provide false ownership information;

  • interfere with another legitimate claim; or

  • use another person’s credentials to gain control.

FIA may suspend profile access while a material ownership dispute is investigated.

8. False Verification Information

You must not submit:

  • forged documents;

  • altered records;

  • fabricated licences;

  • fake insurance documents;

  • false registration information;

  • stolen identity documents;

  • falsified contact information; or

  • knowingly misleading verification evidence.

Verification fraud may result in immediate restriction or removal of the associated status.

9. False Business Information

Businesses must not knowingly create or publish materially misleading information about matters such as:

  • business identity;

  • ownership;

  • location;

  • products;

  • services;

  • qualifications;

  • professional credentials;

  • licences;

  • insurance;

  • pricing;

  • discounts;

  • availability;

  • warranties;

  • affiliations;

  • awards;

  • sponsorship;

  • verification status; or

  • business results.

10. Fake Urgency and Scarcity

You must not use FIA to deliberately create materially false urgency or scarcity.

Examples include falsely representing that:

  • an offer expires immediately when it does not;

  • only a small quantity remains when that is untrue;

  • a service is almost fully booked when it is not;

  • many other customers are currently purchasing when that is fabricated; or

  • a countdown or deadline exists when it routinely resets.

Legitimate limited-time and availability statements are permitted when accurate.

REVIEWS AND REPUTATION

11. Genuine Reviews

Reviews and ratings must comply with FIA’s Reviews & Ratings Policy.

You must not knowingly submit a review that falsely represents a genuine customer or user experience.

12. Fake Reviews

You must not:

  • create fabricated reviews;

  • purchase fake reviews;

  • sell fake reviews;

  • create review farms;

  • operate coordinated review rings;

  • create multiple accounts to manipulate ratings;

  • instruct someone to pretend they were a customer;

  • review your own business while pretending to be independent; or

  • deliberately publish fake negative reviews against competitors.

13. Review Incentives

Businesses may request genuine customer feedback in accordance with FIA’s Reviews & Ratings Policy.

Businesses must not use incentives in a way that:

  • requires a positive review;

  • suppresses negative feedback;

  • materially misleads users;

  • conceals the incentive where disclosure is required; or

  • manufactures a misleading rating.

14. Review Retaliation

Businesses and users must not:

  • threaten;

  • intimidate;

  • harass;

  • blackmail; or

  • unlawfully retaliate against

someone because of a legitimate review or complaint.

Disagreements should be addressed through appropriate response, reporting or dispute processes.

COMMERCIAL MISREPRESENTATION

15. Truthful Marketing

Marketing and commercial representations made through FIA must not be materially false or misleading.

This applies to representations concerning matters such as:

  • price;

  • discounts;

  • savings;

  • regular prices;

  • availability;

  • performance;

  • qualifications;

  • endorsements;

  • testimonials;

  • guarantees;

  • sponsorship;

  • affiliations;

  • product characteristics; and

  • expected business outcomes.

16. FIA Verification and Endorsement Claims

You must not state or imply that FIA:

  • guarantees your business;

  • recommends your business;

  • certifies your business;

  • acts as your regulator;

  • guarantees customer satisfaction; or

  • provides government-style approval

unless FIA has expressly authorized the particular statement.

FIA verification means only what the Business Verification Standards state.

17. FIA Brand Misuse

You must not use:

  • FIA logos;

  • badges;

  • verification marks;

  • Brand assets;

  • screenshots;

  • certificates; or

  • FIA terminology

in a misleading way.

You must not modify an FIA verification graphic to create a status you have not received.

ILLEGAL, RESTRICTED OR UNSAFE ACTIVITIES

18. Illegal Goods and Services

You must not use FIA to advertise, offer, arrange, distribute, sell or facilitate goods or services that are illegal in the jurisdiction where the activity occurs.

A category appearing within FIA does not mean every possible activity within that category is lawful or permitted.

19. Restricted and Higher-Risk Categories

FIA may restrict, delay, condition or refuse certain categories where heightened:

  • safety;

  • licensing;

  • professional;

  • regulatory;

  • fraud;

  • financial;

  • health;

  • consumer-protection; or

  • operational risks

exist.

FIA may require additional safeguards before allowing certain features.

20. Regulated Services

Where a business provides a regulated service, the business remains responsible for satisfying applicable regulatory and professional requirements.

You must not falsely claim to be:

  • licensed;

  • registered;

  • certified;

  • insured;

  • professionally qualified; or

  • authorized

when you are not.

21. Future Marketplace Restricted Products

If FIA activates Marketplace functionality, separate Restricted / Prohibited Products & Services Rules may prohibit or condition additional goods and services.

Those Marketplace rules will apply in addition to this AUP.

The existence of this provision does not mean FIA Marketplace transactions are currently active.

SAFETY AND ABUSE

22. Threats and Harassment

You must not use FIA to:

  • threaten violence;

  • stalk;

  • intimidate;

  • blackmail;

  • extort;

  • repeatedly harass;

  • target another person with abusive communications; or

  • deliberately expose someone to a credible safety risk.

23. Doxxing and Personal Information

You must not publish, distribute or misuse another person’s sensitive or private information without lawful authority.

This may include inappropriate disclosure of:

  • home addresses;

  • private telephone numbers;

  • private email addresses;

  • financial information;

  • government identifiers;

  • passwords;

  • private records;

  • non-public verification records; or

  • other sensitive information.

24. Sexual Exploitation and Abuse

FIA does not permit use of its Platform to facilitate:

  • child sexual abuse material;

  • sexual exploitation of minors;

  • human trafficking;

  • non-consensual intimate content;

  • sexual extortion;

  • forced sexual activity; or

  • other unlawful sexual exploitation.

FIA may preserve evidence and report serious unlawful activity to appropriate authorities where required or legally appropriate.

25. Human Exploitation

FIA must not be used to facilitate:

  • human trafficking;

  • forced labour;

  • modern slavery;

  • exploitation;

  • coercive recruitment;

  • unlawful movement of persons; or

  • related abusive activity.

26. Violent or Criminal Activity

FIA must not be used to organize, facilitate or promote unlawful violent criminal conduct.

Nothing in this section prohibits legitimate:

  • news reporting;

  • academic discussion;

  • historical discussion;

  • safety information; or

  • lawful public-interest discussion.

DISCRIMINATION AND HATEFUL CONDUCT

27. Unlawful Discrimination

Businesses and users must not use FIA to unlawfully discriminate where applicable law prohibits discrimination.

This may apply in areas such as:

  • goods and services;

  • accommodation;

  • employment;

  • contracting; or

  • other regulated activities.

28. Hate and Targeted Harassment

FIA may restrict content that targets people with:

  • dehumanizing attacks;

  • threats;

  • targeted harassment; or

  • unlawful hateful conduct.

FIA will distinguish prohibited targeted abuse from lawful:

  • criticism;

  • opinion;

  • debate;

  • journalism;

  • religious discussion;

  • political discussion; and

  • other protected or legitimate expression.

SPAM AND ELECTRONIC COMMUNICATIONS

29. Spam

You must not use FIA to send:

  • mass unsolicited promotional messages;

  • deceptive solicitations;

  • phishing messages;

  • repetitive unwanted communications;

  • messages intended to evade spam controls; or

  • other abusive electronic communications.

30. Email and Address Harvesting

You must not scrape, harvest or compile email addresses or contact information from FIA for unlawful spam or abusive solicitation.

Public display of a business email address does not automatically mean that every form of bulk marketing to that address is permitted.

31. Marketing Compliance

If you use FIA-derived contact information for your own commercial electronic communications, you are responsible for complying with applicable marketing and privacy requirements.

Where Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation applies, this may include requirements relating to:

  • consent or another applicable basis;

  • sender identification;

  • contact information;

  • unsubscribe functionality; and

  • records supporting compliance.

32. Unsubscribe Requests

You must not deliberately:

  • ignore valid unsubscribe requests;

  • disguise an unsubscribe mechanism;

  • require unnecessary barriers to unsubscribe; or

  • repeatedly re-add someone who has lawfully opted out.

CYBERSECURITY

33. Unauthorized Access

You must not attempt to access:

  • another user’s account;

  • FIA administrative systems;

  • databases;

  • verification records;

  • non-public APIs;

  • internal systems;

  • servers; or

  • other protected areas

without authorization.

34. Security Circumvention

You must not attempt to circumvent:

  • authentication;

  • access controls;

  • password protections;

  • permissions;

  • rate limits;

  • security filters;

  • payment controls;

  • anti-fraud systems;

  • moderation systems; or

  • other Platform safeguards.

35. Malware and Malicious Code

You must not upload, transmit, distribute or intentionally introduce:

  • malware;

  • viruses;

  • ransomware;

  • spyware;

  • credential-stealing tools;

  • malicious scripts;

  • destructive code;

  • malicious browser extensions; or

  • other harmful software.

36. Vulnerability Testing

You must not probe, scan or test FIA systems for security vulnerabilities without prior written authorization.

Legitimate security research must be carried out only under an authorized FIA security or vulnerability-reporting process where one is available.

37. Service Disruption

You must not attempt to:

  • overload FIA infrastructure;

  • conduct denial-of-service attacks;

  • interfere with website availability;

  • deliberately trigger excessive automated traffic;

  • corrupt data;

  • disrupt other users; or

  • materially interfere with normal Platform operation.

38. Reverse Engineering

You must not reverse engineer, decompile or otherwise attempt to obtain protected FIA source code or non-public system functionality except where:

  • FIA expressly authorizes it; or

  • applicable law gives a right that cannot lawfully be restricted.

SCRAPING AND AUTOMATION

39. Search Engines

Legitimate search engines and similar indexing services may access public FIA pages to the extent permitted by:

  • FIA’s technical settings;

  • robots controls;

  • applicable agreements; and

  • applicable law.

40. Unauthorized Scraping

Automated extraction or scraping may be restricted where FIA has the legal right to impose such restrictions.

You must not use automated tools to unlawfully extract:

  • non-public data;

  • personal information;

  • account data;

  • verification evidence;

  • proprietary databases;

  • protected content; or

  • information obtained through circumvention.

41. Excessive Automated Access

Even where public pages may be accessed, automated activity must not:

  • materially impair FIA;

  • overload systems;

  • evade rate limits;

  • bypass technical restrictions;

  • interfere with other users; or

  • create security risks.

FIA may block or rate-limit abusive automated traffic.

PRIVACY

42. Personal Information

You must not use FIA to unlawfully:

  • collect;

  • disclose;

  • publish;

  • sell;

  • transfer;

  • profile;

  • exploit; or

  • otherwise misuse

personal information.

43. FIA Leads and Enquiries

Where FIA provides or facilitates an enquiry, referral or customer contact, the recipient must use that information only for appropriate purposes connected with the relationship and in accordance with applicable privacy and marketing requirements.

Receiving an enquiry does not create unrestricted permission to market indefinitely to that person.

44. Verification Information

Non-public verification information obtained through FIA must not be:

  • copied;

  • republished;

  • sold;

  • disclosed;

  • exploited; or

  • used for unrelated purposes

without appropriate authority.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

45. Infringing Content

You must not knowingly upload, publish or distribute content through FIA that infringes another person’s:

  • copyright;

  • trademark;

  • publicity rights;

  • privacy rights;

  • confidential information; or

  • other intellectual-property rights.

46. Copyright Complaints

Intellectual-property disputes should be handled through FIA’s Copyright & Intellectual Property Policy and applicable complaint process.

Repeated intentional infringement may result in account restrictions or termination.

PLATFORM MANIPULATION

47. Duplicate and Manipulative Accounts

You must not create accounts or listings for the purpose of improperly manipulating:

  • ranking;

  • eligibility;

  • limits;

  • verification;

  • reviews;

  • promotions;

  • commissions;

  • referrals;

  • discounts; or

  • other Platform systems.

Legitimate separate businesses or locations are not prohibited merely because they share an owner, provided the information is accurate and the accounts comply with FIA rules.

48. Referral and Affiliate Fraud

Where Affiliate functionality is active, you must not engage in practices such as:

  • fake referrals;

  • fabricated customers;

  • self-referrals where prohibited;

  • duplicate attribution;

  • unauthorized cookie placement;

  • cookie stuffing;

  • misleading links;

  • transaction manipulation;

  • collusive purchases; or

  • other conduct intended to generate commission improperly.

The applicable Affiliate Program Terms control commission eligibility.

49. Payment and Transaction Abuse

Where payment functionality exists, you must not:

  • use stolen payment credentials;

  • knowingly submit unauthorized payment information;

  • create sham transactions;

  • manipulate refunds;

  • intentionally create fraudulent chargebacks;

  • launder money;

  • manipulate transactions to create false commissions; or

  • otherwise abuse payment systems.

This does not restrict legitimate consumer disputes, chargebacks or statutory rights.

50. Fee Avoidance

Where FIA later activates transaction-based fees, users must not deliberately manipulate FIA systems to avoid a properly disclosed fee in violation of applicable terms.

This does not prevent a business and customer from transacting through another lawful channel where FIA’s applicable terms permit it.

AI AND AUTOMATED CONTENT

51. AI-Assisted Content

Users may use AI-assisted tools where otherwise permitted, but the user remains responsible for content submitted to FIA.

AI-generated content must still comply with FIA policies.

52. Prohibited AI Uses

You must not use AI or automation through FIA to:

  • fabricate reviews;

  • impersonate individuals;

  • create fake business identities;

  • create forged verification evidence;

  • generate deceptive testimonials;

  • spread malicious content;

  • create fraudulent applications;

  • mass-generate spam;

  • evade moderation;

  • create malicious code; or

  • otherwise violate this AUP.

53. Accuracy of AI Content

Where accuracy is material, the person submitting AI-assisted content is responsible for reasonable review before publication.

The fact that content was created by AI does not excuse:

  • false claims;

  • infringement;

  • defamation;

  • fraud;

  • privacy violations; or

  • other prohibited conduct.

FIA PROGRAMS

54. Affiliates

Affiliates must comply with:

  • this AUP;

  • Affiliate Program Terms;

  • Affiliate Promotion & Disclosure Guidelines;

  • applicable marketing laws; and

  • FIA Brand rules.

Affiliates must not make unauthorized guarantees or misleading representations about FIA.

55. FIA Service Partners

FIA Service Partners must comply with:

  • this AUP;

  • their Service Partner Agreement;

  • applicable professional obligations;

  • FIA program rules; and

  • applicable law.

Service Partner status must not be misrepresented as employment, franchise ownership or unrestricted agency authority.

56. Business Stories

Businesses participating in FIA Business Stories must not deliberately provide:

  • fabricated founder stories;

  • fake awards;

  • misleading achievements;

  • false statistics;

  • unauthorized photographs;

  • infringing material; or

  • other materially deceptive content.

FIA may request factual correction before publication.

FUTURE MARKETPLACE

57. Marketplace Rules

When Marketplace functionality is activated, buyers and sellers will also be subject to applicable:

  • Seller Standards;

  • Marketplace Seller Agreement;

  • Restricted / Prohibited Products & Services Rules;

  • Buyer Protection Policy;

  • payment rules;

  • refund rules; and

  • other Marketplace requirements.

Until Marketplace functionality is activated, these provisions should not be interpreted as representing that FIA currently offers Marketplace transactions.

ENFORCEMENT

58. FIA Enforcement Options

Where FIA reasonably believes this AUP has been violated, FIA may take proportionate action.

Depending on the circumstances, FIA may:

  • issue a warning;

  • request clarification;

  • request evidence;

  • require correction;

  • remove content;

  • restrict content;

  • pause publication;

  • restrict an account;

  • limit a feature;

  • remove verification;

  • suspend profile control;

  • suspend an Affiliate;

  • suspend a Service Partner;

  • terminate access;

  • reverse an improperly obtained benefit where contractually permitted;

  • preserve evidence;

  • block abusive technical traffic; or

  • take another action permitted by applicable FIA terms or law.

59. Immediate Action

FIA may act without advance notice where delay could reasonably create a material:

  • fraud risk;

  • safety risk;

  • security risk;

  • privacy risk;

  • payment risk;

  • legal risk;

  • impersonation risk; or

  • Platform-integrity risk.

Immediate restriction does not necessarily represent a final finding.

60. Factors FIA May Consider

When deciding on enforcement, FIA may consider matters such as:

  • seriousness;

  • available evidence;

  • intent;

  • repetition;

  • previous warnings;

  • number of affected users;

  • risk of harm;

  • financial impact;

  • cooperation;

  • corrective action;

  • security risk; and

  • applicable law.

61. Preservation of Evidence

Where reasonably necessary, FIA may preserve relevant records concerning suspected:

  • fraud;

  • impersonation;

  • cybersecurity incidents;

  • policy violations;

  • disputes;

  • payment abuse; or

  • other serious misconduct.

Records will be handled according to applicable privacy, security and retention requirements.

62. Authorities and Third Parties

Where legally appropriate, FIA may report or disclose relevant information to:

  • law-enforcement agencies;

  • regulators;

  • courts;

  • payment providers;

  • cybersecurity providers;

  • professional regulators; or

  • other appropriate parties.

FIA will not automatically disclose information merely because someone informally demands it where legal authority or another valid basis is required.

REVIEW AND APPEALS

63. Requesting Review

Where reasonably appropriate, a user or business affected by a material enforcement action may request review through the applicable:

  • support process;

  • appeal process;

  • Report a Concern / Abuse process; or

  • Policy & Legal Enquiry Form.

FIA may ask for additional evidence.

64. Repetitive Appeals

FIA may limit repeated submissions that:

  • raise the same issue;

  • contain no materially new evidence; and

  • have already received appropriate review.

This does not prevent a person from raising genuinely new information.

REPORTING ABUSE

65. Reporting an AUP Violation

Users may report suspected:

  • fraud;

  • impersonation;

  • fake businesses;

  • fake reviews;

  • verification misuse;

  • harmful content;

  • harassment;

  • privacy abuse;

  • spam;

  • cybersecurity concerns;

  • unauthorized profile claims;

  • prohibited activity; or

  • other AUP violations

through FIA’s Report a Concern / Abuse process.

66. Emergency Situations

FIA is not an emergency-response service.

For an immediate threat to:

  • life;

  • physical safety;

  • a child;

  • property; or

  • another urgent emergency,

contact the appropriate emergency service or law-enforcement authority.

Do not rely on an FIA form for emergency assistance.

CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

67. Policy Updates

FIA may update this AUP in response to:

  • new Platform functionality;

  • new forms of abuse;

  • cybersecurity risks;

  • legal developments;

  • new FIA programs;

  • Marketplace activation;

  • changes to technology; or

  • operational experience.

The current version will display the Last Updated date.

Where applicable law or an existing agreement requires additional notice for a material change, FIA will provide the required notice.
