1. PURPOSE
This Cookie & Tracking Policy explains how Find It All (“FIA”) may use cookies and similar technologies when users interact with the FIA website, Platform, Marketplace and related digital services.
Find It All is owned, operated and managed by Innovara Marketing Inc.
This Policy should be read together with FIA’s Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
2. WHAT ARE COOKIES?
Cookies are small pieces of information that websites may store on a browser or device.
Cookies can perform functions such as:
maintaining sessions;
remembering preferences;
enabling account functionality;
supporting security;
maintaining shopping-cart information;
measuring website usage; or
supporting referral attribution.
Some cookies exist only during a browsing session, while others may remain for a defined period.
3. SIMILAR TECHNOLOGIES
FIA may also use technologies such as:
local storage;
pixels;
web beacons;
tags;
scripts;
referral identifiers;
URL parameters;
transaction identifiers;
device or browser information; and
similar digital technologies.
References to “cookies” in this Policy may include these similar technologies where appropriate.
4. CATEGORIES OF TECHNOLOGY
FIA may use different categories of cookies or similar technologies depending on the functionality being provided.
These may include:
strictly necessary and security technologies;
functional and preference technologies;
Marketplace and transaction technologies;
analytics and performance technologies;
Affiliate and referral tracking technologies;
advertising or remarketing technologies where activated; and
communication and campaign-measurement technologies.
Not every technology described in this Policy is necessarily active at all times.
5. STRICTLY NECESSARY TECHNOLOGIES
Certain technologies may be required for FIA to operate securely or provide functionality requested by a user.
These may support:
website operation;
account authentication;
user sessions;
security;
fraud prevention;
load balancing;
network management;
forms;
privacy preferences;
Marketplace checkout;
shopping-cart functionality; and
transaction processing.
Disabling strictly necessary technologies may prevent parts of FIA from functioning correctly.
6. FUNCTIONAL & PREFERENCE TECHNOLOGIES
FIA may use cookies or local storage to remember preferences such as:
language;
display settings;
login state;
privacy settings;
Marketplace preferences;
form progress;
search preferences; or
other usability settings.
These technologies are intended to make FIA easier and more consistent to use.
7. MARKETPLACE TECHNOLOGIES
FIA operates Marketplace functionality.
Cookies and similar technologies may therefore be used to support activities such as:
maintaining Marketplace sessions;
shopping-cart functionality;
account authentication;
checkout;
payment-session continuity;
transaction security;
fraud prevention;
order administration;
Marketplace preferences;
conversion measurement;
Affiliate attribution; and
Marketplace performance.
Marketplace purchases are governed by the Marketplace Purchase Terms.
Marketplace transaction information is also handled according to FIA’s Privacy Policy.
8. SHOPPING CARTS & CHECKOUT
Where FIA uses shopping-cart or checkout functionality, cookies or similar technologies may be needed to remember:
selected products or services;
quantities;
session information;
transaction progress;
checkout state; or
other information necessary to complete the purchase.
These technologies may be necessary for the user-requested Marketplace transaction to function properly.
9. PAYMENT TECHNOLOGIES
FIA may use approved third-party payment providers.
Payment providers may use cookies or similar technologies for purposes such as:
payment processing;
authentication;
transaction security;
fraud detection; or
regulatory compliance.
Payment-provider technologies may be governed partly by the provider’s own privacy or cookie practices.
FIA’s financial rules are described in the Payment, Billing, Refund & Payout Policy.
10. ANALYTICS & PERFORMANCE
Where activated and permitted, FIA may use analytics technologies to understand matters such as:
page visits;
traffic sources;
device categories;
general location;
search activity;
referral sources;
page performance;
errors;
engagement;
conversion activity; and
how FIA features are used.
Analytics information may help FIA:
improve Platform performance;
identify technical problems;
understand user journeys;
improve Marketplace experiences; and
evaluate FIA services.
Where consent is required for a particular analytics technology, FIA will use appropriate consent or preference controls.
11. AFFILIATE & REFERRAL TRACKING
FIA operates an Affiliate Program.
Where Affiliate tracking is active, FIA may use:
referral links;
identifiers;
cookies;
URL parameters;
promotional codes;
account information;
transaction records; or
similar technologies
to determine whether an eligible FIA or Marketplace transaction should be attributed to an Affiliate.
FIA’s attribution model may include a defined referral window and other rules established in the Affiliate Tracking & Attribution Disclosure.
Affiliate tracking does not mean every visit, click or purchase generates commission.
Affiliate relationships are further governed by the Affiliate Program Terms & Conditions.
12. MARKETPLACE AFFILIATE ATTRIBUTION
Where an Affiliate refers a customer to an eligible Marketplace offering, FIA may use approved tracking methods to determine attribution.
Affiliate attribution does not:
make the Affiliate the Marketplace Seller;
change which business must fulfil the offering;
reduce the Buyer’s Marketplace rights; or
automatically increase the Buyer’s price.
Marketplace Affiliate relationships are explained in the Marketplace Affiliate Sales Disclosure.
Refunds, cancellations, chargebacks or invalid transactions may affect Affiliate commission without changing applicable Buyer rights.
13. ADVERTISING & REMARKETING
If FIA activates advertising or remarketing technologies, these technologies may be used to:
measure advertising campaigns;
understand campaign performance;
limit repeated advertising;
create lawful advertising audiences;
understand conversions; or
show advertising that may be more relevant.
This Policy does not mean FIA currently uses every advertising technology that is technically available.
Where tracking involves personal information and consent is required, FIA will provide appropriate information and privacy choices.
FIA does not require users to accept optional behavioural advertising merely to access ordinary Platform functionality where that tracking is not necessary to provide the service.
14. ONLINE BEHAVIOURAL ADVERTISING
Online behavioural advertising may involve tracking activity over time or across websites in order to infer interests and provide targeted advertising.
Where FIA engages in this type of activity, FIA aims to:
explain the purpose clearly;
provide information at or before the relevant collection where appropriate;
provide a practical way to exercise available choices;
avoid making unnecessary behavioural advertising a condition of ordinary Platform access;
avoid using inappropriate sensitive information for behavioural advertising; and
apply reasonable retention practices.
FIA does not intend to use tracking technologies designed to defeat a user’s reasonable attempt to exercise privacy choices.
15. CHILDREN & BEHAVIOURAL TRACKING
FIA’s commercial Marketplace, Vendor, Affiliate and paid business-service functions are primarily intended for adults.
FIA does not intentionally use optional tracking technologies to create inappropriate behavioural advertising profiles of children.
Where FIA knows or reasonably determines that a user is a child, additional privacy considerations may apply.
More information is available in the Privacy Policy.
16. EMAIL & COMMUNICATION TRACKING
Where permitted, FIA emails may use technologies that help indicate information such as:
whether an email was delivered;
whether certain links were selected;
general campaign engagement; or
resulting website activity.
These technologies may be used to:
measure communications;
understand campaign effectiveness;
improve content; or
support legitimate Affiliate or customer journeys.
Users may unsubscribe from optional promotional communications through the available unsubscribe process.
Unsubscribing from promotional email does not prevent FIA from sending necessary:
transaction;
order;
payment;
security;
account;
Marketplace fulfilment; or
legal communications.
17. CONSENT & PRIVACY CHOICES
The type of consent or privacy choice appropriate for a technology depends on:
what information is collected;
why it is collected;
whether the technology is necessary;
sensitivity;
user expectations; and
applicable law.
Strictly necessary technologies may be required to provide requested functionality.
Optional technologies may be subject to additional consent or preference controls where appropriate.
FIA aims not to require consent for unrelated secondary tracking as a condition of receiving a service where that tracking is not reasonably necessary.
18. COOKIE OR CONSENT BANNER
Where FIA provides a cookie or consent-management interface, users may be able to:
accept available categories;
reject certain optional technologies;
customize preferences; or
change previously selected preferences.
Available options may vary according to:
technology used;
jurisdiction;
browser settings; or
the particular FIA service.
A user’s choice should be respected according to the settings and technologies FIA has implemented.
19. CHANGING COOKIE SETTINGS
Users may also control cookies through browser or device settings.
Depending on the browser, users may be able to:
block cookies;
delete cookies;
restrict third-party cookies;
clear site data; or
manage tracking permissions.
Blocking certain cookies may affect FIA functionality.
For example, disabling necessary session cookies may prevent:
account login;
shopping-cart retention;
Marketplace checkout; or
other Platform functions.
20. THIRD-PARTY TECHNOLOGIES
Some FIA functionality may rely on third-party providers.
Depending on what FIA has activated, providers may support:
hosting;
analytics;
security;
payment processing;
forms;
customer support;
advertising;
communications;
Marketplace functionality;
Affiliate attribution; or
fraud prevention.
These providers may use their own technologies to provide their services.
Where a provider independently determines how information is used outside FIA’s instructions, the provider’s own privacy practices may also apply.
21. CROSS-BORDER PROCESSING
Some technology or service providers may process information outside Ontario or outside Canada.
Where information is processed in another jurisdiction, it may be subject to the laws of that jurisdiction.
FIA considers appropriate privacy, security and contractual safeguards when using service providers.
Additional information about cross-border processing is available in FIA’s Privacy Policy.
22. SECURITY & FRAUD PREVENTION
Cookies and similar technologies may be used to help:
detect unusual activity;
protect accounts;
prevent fraud;
secure transactions;
identify suspicious login behaviour;
prevent Marketplace abuse;
protect Affiliate attribution; and
maintain Platform security.
Some security technologies may be necessary for FIA to provide a safe Platform and may therefore operate independently of optional marketing choices.
23. DATA GENERATED FROM COOKIES
Information generated through cookies or similar technologies may include:
IP address;
browser information;
device information;
session identifier;
referral source;
pages viewed;
interactions;
transaction events;
general geographic information;
Affiliate identifier;
conversion information;
timestamps; or
technical diagnostic information.
Whether this information identifies an individual depends on the context and how the information is used or combined.
Where it constitutes personal information, FIA handles it according to the Privacy Policy.
24. RETENTION
Different cookies and technologies may have different lifespans.
Some may expire when the browser session ends.
Others may remain for a defined period to support purposes such as:
preferences;
security;
Affiliate attribution;
analytics; or
other Platform functionality.
Information generated through a cookie may sometimes be retained separately after the cookie itself expires or is deleted.
FIA aims to retain personal information only for as long as reasonably required for the identified purpose or as otherwise permitted or required.
25. AFFILIATE ATTRIBUTION RETENTION
Affiliate attribution records may need to be retained separately from the browser cookie itself.
For example, FIA may retain transaction and referral records needed to:
administer commission;
investigate attribution;
process refunds;
address chargebacks;
detect fraud;
reconcile monthly Affiliate calculations; or
maintain accounting records.
Deleting a browser cookie does not necessarily require deletion of transaction records that FIA is permitted or required to retain.
26. DO NOT TRACK & BROWSER SIGNALS
Browsers and devices may provide privacy or tracking signals.
Technical standards and legal requirements relating to these signals continue to evolve.
FIA will assess applicable recognized signals and legal requirements as its technology and obligations develop.
This Policy does not promise support for every browser signal or privacy technology unless FIA has actually implemented it or applicable law requires it.
27. NO HIDDEN “SUPERCOOKIE” PRACTICES
FIA does not intend to use technologies designed primarily to secretly restore tracking identifiers after users have deliberately deleted or disabled them.
Where users are provided a meaningful tracking choice, FIA aims not to deliberately undermine that choice through hidden persistent tracking techniques.
28. PUBLIC BUSINESS INFORMATION & COOKIES
Cookies and analytics may record visits to public FIA business profiles.
The fact that a business profile contains public business information does not mean FIA may use a visitor’s personal browsing information without regard to applicable privacy requirements.
Public business information and individual user-tracking information are treated as different concepts.
29. MARKETPLACE SELLERS
Marketplace Sellers do not automatically receive access to FIA’s complete tracking or analytics information.
FIA may provide Sellers with information reasonably necessary to:
administer their Marketplace participation;
understand their own eligible transactions;
fulfil orders;
review performance information made available by FIA; or
comply with applicable Seller requirements.
Seller access remains subject to FIA policies and the Marketplace Seller Standards.
30. AFFILIATES
Affiliates may receive information about eligible referral or commission activity made available through FIA’s approved systems.
Affiliate participation does not automatically provide access to:
a customer’s full payment information;
unrelated customer information;
Seller confidential information; or
FIA’s internal fraud-detection systems.
Affiliates must comply with the Affiliate Promotion & Disclosure Guidelines.
31. PRIVACY QUESTIONS
Questions about cookies, tracking, analytics or related privacy practices may be submitted through FIA’s Policy, Privacy & Legal Enquiry process.
Users may also contact:

32. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
FIA may update this Cookie & Tracking Policy to reflect:
Marketplace development;
Affiliate functionality;
new Platform features;
technology changes;
service providers;
analytics practices;
advertising practices;
privacy requirements; or
changes in applicable law.
The published Policy will identify its current version and effective date.
Where a materially new tracking purpose requires additional notice or consent, FIA will take appropriate steps rather than treating an older consent as unlimited authorization for every future use.
