1. Welcome to the FIA Marketplace

The Find It All Seller Onboarding Centre explains the steps businesses generally need to complete before selling products or services through the FIA Marketplace.

Find It All, or FIA, is owned, operated and managed by Innovara Marketing Inc.

FIA is building a Canada-first local discovery and business-growth ecosystem connecting consumers with businesses, services, products and local opportunities.

Marketplace participation is intended to help approved businesses:

  • reach potential customers;

  • offer approved products and services;

  • process Marketplace opportunities;

  • participate in FIA growth programs;

  • access optional Affiliate Campaign opportunities;

  • build a trusted Marketplace presence; and

  • connect Marketplace activity with FIA’s broader discovery ecosystem.

Marketplace approval is not automatic.

Businesses must complete the applicable onboarding, verification and acceptance requirements before selling.

PART I — UNDERSTANDING THE MARKETPLACE

2. Who Can Sell Through FIA?

Marketplace offers may be provided by:

2.1 Independent Marketplace Sellers

These are approved businesses or other approved commercial providers that sell through FIA while remaining legally and operationally separate from Innovara Marketing Inc.

An independent Marketplace Seller remains responsible for its own business and its products or services, subject to FIA’s Marketplace rules.

2.2 Innovara Marketplace Vendor

Innovara Marketing Inc. may also offer its own products or services through FIA.

Where Innovara is identified as the provider, Innovara acts as a first-party Marketplace Vendor.

An Innovara offer may appear in the same Marketplace environment as independent Seller offers.

The provider responsible for an offer should be identified to the Buyer.

For additional information about these roles, review Understanding Our Role.

3. Independent Seller Status

Approval to sell through FIA does not make an independent Seller:

  • an employee of Innovara Marketing Inc.;

  • an employee of FIA;

  • a partner or joint venturer of Innovara;

  • a franchisee of FIA;

  • an agent authorized to bind Innovara; or

  • part of Innovara Marketing Inc.

Independent Sellers remain separate businesses.

Different arrangements may apply to separately contracted FIA Freelancers, Independent Sales Contractors or other service providers.

Those roles are not created simply because a business becomes a Marketplace Seller.

4. Marketplace Approval

Creating an FIA business presence, directory listing or account does not automatically authorize a business to sell through the Marketplace.

Marketplace selling may require:

  1. Seller application;

  2. identity or business verification;

  3. category review;

  4. required licensing or insurance review;

  5. tax and payout information;

  6. offer review;

  7. acceptance of the applicable Marketplace Seller Agreement and declarations;

  8. completion of any additional category requirements; and

  9. FIA Marketplace approval.

FIA may approve only certain offers or categories even where the overall business has been approved.

PART II — BEFORE YOU APPLY

5. Information Sellers Should Prepare

Depending on the business and the offerings proposed, an independent Seller may be asked to provide information such as:

  • legal business name;

  • operating or trade name;

  • business address;

  • business contact information;

  • website;

  • authorized representative information;

  • business registration information;

  • ownership or authority information;

  • business number or other relevant tax information;

  • GST/HST information where applicable;

  • payout information;

  • product or service information;

  • licences;

  • permits;

  • professional registrations;

  • insurance documentation;

  • warranties;

  • return or cancellation information;

  • fulfilment information; and

  • additional category-specific documentation.

Not every item applies to every Seller.

FIA may request additional information where reasonably necessary for verification, risk review, tax or reporting requirements, Marketplace administration or applicable legal obligations.

6. Information Must Be Accurate

All information provided during onboarding must be truthful, accurate, current and supplied by an authorized person.

Do not submit:

  • another business’s identity without authority;

  • altered licences;

  • false registration numbers;

  • false insurance documentation;

  • fabricated credentials;

  • inaccurate tax information;

  • misleading ownership details; or

  • false product or service information.

Materially false or misleading onboarding information may result in rejection, restriction, suspension or termination.

7. Authorized Representative

The individual completing Marketplace onboarding for an independent Seller must have authority to act on behalf of that business.

FIA may request confirmation of that authority where appropriate.

A person should not accept Marketplace terms on behalf of a business unless they are authorized to do so.

PART III — SELLER VERIFICATION

8. Verification Process

FIA may verify information supplied by an independent Seller before or during Marketplace participation.

Verification may include, depending on the circumstances:

  • reviewing submitted documents;

  • confirming business information;

  • confirming contact information;

  • reviewing public records where appropriate;

  • confirming licences or registrations;

  • reviewing insurance documentation;

  • confirming payout or tax information;

  • requesting clarification;

  • requesting updated documents; or

  • conducting additional category-specific review.

The verification process may vary depending on the Seller and the proposed offering.

9. What FIA Verification Does Not Mean

FIA verification is a Marketplace trust and risk-control process.

It does not mean FIA guarantees that:

  • the Seller will always comply with the law;

  • the Seller will never receive a complaint;

  • every statement made by the Seller has been independently audited;

  • every product or service will suit every Buyer;

  • the Seller is government approved;

  • FIA is a government regulator;

  • FIA has certified the Seller’s professional competence; or

  • the Seller cannot later lose Marketplace eligibility.

Sellers must not advertise FIA verification in a misleading way.

See the Business Verification Standards.

10. Re-Verification

Marketplace approval is not necessarily permanent.

FIA may require updated or additional verification where appropriate, including when:

  • documents expire;

  • ownership changes;

  • the business changes its legal identity;

  • payout information changes;

  • licences change;

  • insurance expires or changes;

  • a Seller enters a new regulated category;

  • unusual account activity requires review;

  • significant complaints arise;

  • FIA reasonably needs updated information; or

  • applicable legal or reporting requirements change.

Sellers are responsible for keeping information current.

PART IV — REGULATED AND HIGHER-RISK CATEGORIES

11. Category Review

Some Marketplace categories may require enhanced review.

A Seller should not assume that approval to sell one category automatically permits sales in another category.

FIA may restrict or require additional review for categories involving elevated considerations such as:

  • health or wellness;

  • financial or professional services;

  • childcare;

  • transportation;

  • construction or skilled trades;

  • regulated professions;

  • food-related activities;

  • safety-sensitive services;

  • age-restricted activity;

  • controlled or regulated products;

  • home services requiring licensing;

  • other higher-risk categories.

This list is illustrative and may evolve.

12. High-Risk Category Requirements

Where applicable, FIA may require acceptance of the High-Risk Category Addendum.

Additional requirements may include:

  • professional licence information;

  • permits;

  • certification;

  • specialized insurance;

  • proof of training;

  • regulatory registration;

  • additional disclosures;

  • category-specific Marketplace conditions; or

  • additional verification.

FIA may decide that certain products or categories are not appropriate for the Marketplace even where they may otherwise be lawful.

13. Licensing and Professional Credentials

Sellers are responsible for determining and maintaining the licences, permits, professional registrations and other authorizations required for their business and offerings.

Where a Marketplace offer relies on a licence or credential, the Seller must ensure the information supplied to FIA remains accurate.

A Seller must notify FIA if a relevant required licence or authorization is:

  • suspended;

  • revoked;

  • restricted;

  • expired; or

  • otherwise no longer valid.

14. Insurance

FIA may require evidence of insurance for particular Sellers, services or categories.

Where applicable, the Seller may also be required to complete the Insurance Declaration & Acknowledgement.

FIA’s review of insurance information does not:

  • make FIA the Seller’s insurer;

  • guarantee the adequacy of a particular policy;

  • guarantee that an insurer will respond to a claim; or

  • transfer the Seller’s own insurance responsibilities to FIA.

PART V — TAX AND REPORTING INFORMATION

15. Seller Tax Information

As part of onboarding or continued Marketplace participation, FIA may request information relevant to tax administration or reporting.

Depending on the circumstances, this may include:

  • legal name;

  • address;

  • jurisdiction of tax residence;

  • business number;

  • GST/HST registration information;

  • tax identification information; or

  • other information required for applicable Marketplace reporting.

Sellers must provide accurate information.

FIA does not provide individualized tax advice through the onboarding process.

Sellers should obtain appropriate professional advice where they need help determining their own tax obligations.

16. Digital Platform Reporting

Canadian digital-platform reporting rules may require qualifying platform operators to collect, verify and report information concerning certain Sellers and Marketplace activity.

Where those requirements apply to FIA or a Marketplace Seller, FIA may request information reasonably necessary to meet applicable reporting obligations.

Seller information should not be withheld or falsified for the purpose of avoiding legitimate reporting requirements.

A separate Seller Tax & Platform Reporting Acknowledgement may be required as part of Seller onboarding.

17. GST/HST and Marketplace Transactions

GST/HST treatment may depend on factors including:

  • the Seller;

  • the type of supply;

  • the Seller’s registration status;

  • the Marketplace structure;

  • the location of the Seller or Buyer; and

  • applicable Canadian tax rules.

Depending on the applicable transaction structure, tax may be collected or remitted by the Seller, Innovara, a payment service provider or another party as required.

A Seller must not treat the Marketplace onboarding process as individualized tax advice.

PART VI — PAYOUT INFORMATION

18. Seller Payout Setup

Independent Sellers may be required to establish an approved payout method before receiving Marketplace proceeds.

FIA may request information necessary to verify or administer the payout account.

The name or ownership associated with a payout account may need to reasonably correspond with the approved Seller or authorized recipient.

FIA may request additional information where account details create a verification concern.

19. Seller Payouts Are Not the Same as Affiliate Payouts

Seller proceeds and Affiliate commissions are different payment streams.

A Seller receives proceeds from the Seller’s Marketplace transaction after applicable Marketplace fees and legitimate transaction adjustments.

An Affiliate may separately earn commission for valid qualifying referred transactions under the Affiliate Program Terms & Conditions.

An Affiliate is not the Seller simply because an Affiliate referred the Buyer.

PART VII — BUILDING YOUR MARKETPLACE OFFER

20. Offer Information

Before an offer can be approved, FIA may require details such as:

  • offer name;

  • Seller/provider identity;

  • product or service description;

  • scope;

  • specifications;

  • quantity;

  • included items;

  • exclusions;

  • service area;

  • delivery method;

  • fulfilment timeline;

  • scheduling requirements;

  • price;

  • approved discounts;

  • mandatory charges;

  • tax treatment information;

  • cancellation terms;

  • refund information;

  • warranty information;

  • images or supporting content;

  • eligibility restrictions; and

  • other material conditions.

Sellers are responsible for the accuracy of information they provide.

21. Offer Accuracy

Marketplace offers must clearly and accurately represent what the Buyer will receive.

Sellers must not use:

  • materially misleading descriptions;

  • false product specifications;

  • fabricated certifications;

  • misleading photographs;

  • fake reviews;

  • unsupported claims;

  • fake discounts;

  • deceptive urgency;

  • false scarcity;

  • undisclosed mandatory charges; or

  • other materially misleading representations.

See the Marketplace Seller Standards and Acceptable Use Policy.

22. Pricing Transparency

Sellers should provide the information FIA needs to present transparent Marketplace pricing.

Known mandatory Seller charges should not be hidden until late in the purchase process.

FIA’s Seller-side Marketplace fees must not be converted into undisclosed mandatory Buyer surcharges.

Where a charge depends on a variable fact that cannot reasonably be calculated in advance, the basis for that charge should be communicated appropriately where required.

PART VIII — FIA MARKETPLACE FEES

23. Standard Marketplace Fee

Unless a valid written Seller arrangement expressly provides otherwise, FIA’s standard Marketplace Vendor fee is:

15%

The standard fee is calculated on the:

qualifying transaction subtotal after approved discounts and before applicable sales taxes.

For a normal qualifying Marketplace transaction:

  • Standard FIA Marketplace fee: 15%

  • Vendor proceeds before other applicable adjustments: 85%

Other legitimate adjustments may include refunds, reversals, chargebacks, credits, transaction corrections or amounts otherwise properly arising under the Seller’s applicable terms.

The 15% Marketplace fee is a Seller-side commercial charge.

It must not be presented to a Buyer as an undisclosed mandatory surcharge.

PART IX — OPTIONAL AFFILIATE CAMPAIGN

24. Sellers Do Not Have to Place Every Offer in the Affiliate Campaign

An approved Seller may be given the option to place a specific Marketplace offer into FIA’s Affiliate Campaign.

Participation is per offer.

Joining the Affiliate Campaign for one offer does not automatically enroll:

  • every offer from that Seller;

  • all future products;

  • all future services;

  • unrelated packages; or

  • materially different versions of the offer.

The applicable offer must be specifically approved for Affiliate participation.

25. Affiliate Campaign Fee

Where:

  1. the Seller has opted the specific offer into FIA’s Affiliate Campaign; and

  2. a valid Affiliate-attributed qualifying transaction occurs,

an additional:

15% Affiliate Campaign Fee

applies to that qualifying transaction.

Accordingly, the standard working Vendor-side economics for an Affiliate-attributed sale of an opted-in offer are:

FeeRate
Standard Marketplace Fee15%
Affiliate Campaign Fee15%
Total Vendor-Side FIA Fee30%
Vendor Proceeds Before Other Adjustments70%

The additional 15% does not automatically apply to ordinary Marketplace sales.

26. Affiliate Campaign Fee Is Not an Affiliate Pass-Through

The additional 15% Affiliate Campaign Fee is payable to FIA under the applicable Vendor campaign arrangement.

It is not a representation that the entire additional 15% is automatically paid directly to the Affiliate.

Affiliate Campaign revenue may support matters including:

  • Affiliate commission;

  • referral acquisition;

  • Affiliate program administration;

  • attribution technology;

  • reconciliation;

  • fraud controls;

  • campaign operations;

  • platform infrastructure; and

  • other Affiliate Campaign-related economics.

27. Affiliate Eligible and Tier Eligible Offers

An offer participating in FIA’s Affiliate Campaign may be classified as:

  • Affiliate Eligible; or

  • Tier Eligible, where the additional tier structure applies.

Tier Eligible offers may be provided by:

  • Innovara Marketing Inc. as a first-party Marketplace Vendor; or

  • approved independent Marketplace Sellers.

Not every Affiliate Eligible offer must be Tier Eligible.

28. Current Affiliate Commission Framework

The standard FIA Affiliate model provides a:

4% Base Commission on Qualifying Sales.

For selected Tier Eligible offers, the standard final Affiliate rates are based on Tier-Finalized sales for the same specific offer during the applicable month:

Tier-Finalized Sales for the Same Specific OfferFinal Affiliate Rate
Below CAD $5,0005%
CAD $5,000–$14,999.9910%
CAD $15,000+15%

The 4% Base Commission is included within the applicable final tier rate.

Different offers are not combined unless FIA expressly establishes an approved shared offer group.

The complete Affiliate rules are contained in the Affiliate Program Terms & Conditions.

29. Affiliate Early Withdrawal

Where the applicable dashboard functionality supports early withdrawal, an Affiliate may be permitted to withdraw an available 4% Base Commission.

Doing so:

  • locks that transaction at 4%;

  • removes that transaction from Tier Eligible treatment;

  • removes it from the applicable offer’s tier-progress calculation; and

  • prevents a later tier top-up on that transaction.

This Affiliate decision does not change the Vendor’s applicable campaign fee for a transaction that validly qualified under the Vendor’s accepted campaign terms.

30. Tier Finalization

For Affiliate tier purposes, a qualifying transaction generally becomes Tier Finalized after applicable conditions are satisfied, including:

  • customer payment has settled;

  • required delivery, completion or approved fulfilment milestone has occurred;

  • the ordinary Buyer issue window has passed;

  • there is no unresolved material refund or dispute;

  • the Affiliate has not removed the transaction from tier treatment through early Base Commission withdrawal; and

  • the transaction remains otherwise eligible.

A Tier Eligible transaction counts toward the Affiliate tier in the calendar month in which it becomes Tier Finalized.

31. Affiliate Attribution

The standard FIA Affiliate attribution framework uses:

24-hour protected referral attribution

and a:

first-valid-click model.

During an active protected window, a later Affiliate click does not normally replace the valid first Affiliate attribution.

Sellers must not attempt to alter, suppress or manipulate valid Affiliate attribution.

See the Affiliate Tracking & Attribution Disclosure.

32. Affiliate Is Not the Seller

An Affiliate promoting a Seller’s offer is a referrer/promoter and does not become the underlying Seller.

The Marketplace Seller remains responsible for its product or service.

An Affiliate is not automatically authorized to:

  • negotiate different Seller terms;

  • change the offer;

  • alter the price;

  • promise additional services;

  • make warranties on behalf of the Seller; or

  • bind the Seller.

33. Vendor Affiliate Campaign Enrollment

Independent Vendors participating in FIA’s Affiliate Campaign may be required to accept a separate Vendor Affiliate Campaign Schedule.

The schedule may record matters such as:

  • Vendor identity;

  • specific participating offer;

  • Affiliate Eligible status;

  • Tier Eligible status;

  • additional 15% Affiliate Campaign Fee;

  • campaign effective date;

  • campaign change or end rules;

  • applicable attribution rules;

  • refund and chargeback treatment;

  • campaign-specific conditions; and

  • accepted version.

An Affiliate Campaign enrollment should not be inferred merely because the Seller uses other FIA Marketplace services.

34. Campaign Changes or Opt-Out

A Seller may request prospective changes to Affiliate Campaign participation subject to its applicable campaign terms.

A Seller cannot retroactively remove an otherwise valid:

  • Affiliate attribution;

  • Affiliate Campaign Fee;

  • Affiliate transaction status; or

  • accepted transaction obligation

simply because the Seller later decides to leave the campaign.

Future participation may be changed in accordance with the applicable campaign rules.

PART X — OPTIONAL MARKETPLACE GROWTH PRODUCTS

35. Boosts and Featured Placement

Marketplace participation and Affiliate Campaign participation are separate from optional visibility products.

FIA may separately offer commercial products such as:

  • Boosts;

  • Featured Placement;

  • Sponsored Visibility;

  • category promotion;

  • promotional campaigns; and

  • other growth services.

These products may have their own price and terms.

The additional Affiliate Campaign Fee does not automatically include these services.

PART XI — DOCUMENTS SELLERS MAY NEED TO ACCEPT

36. Marketplace Seller Agreement

Approved independent Sellers may be required to enter into a separate Marketplace Seller Agreement with Innovara Marketing Inc.

The private Seller Agreement may address matters including:

  • Marketplace fees;

  • payouts;

  • transaction adjustments;

  • refunds;

  • chargebacks;

  • negative balances;

  • holds or reserves where applicable;

  • Seller obligations;

  • fulfilment;

  • taxes;

  • licensing;

  • insurance;

  • data;

  • warranties and representations;

  • suspension;

  • termination; and

  • versioned acceptance.

The public Marketplace Seller Standards remain part of the broader Seller rules.

Innovara does not enter into an independent Seller Agreement with itself for its own first-party offers.

37. Seller Onboarding & Accuracy Declaration

FIA may require independent Sellers to complete a Seller Onboarding & Accuracy Declaration.

This declaration may require the Seller to confirm that:

  • submitted information is accurate;

  • the person applying is authorized;

  • licences and permits disclosed are accurate;

  • insurance information is accurate;

  • offer information is accurate;

  • material changes will be reported; and

  • required Marketplace rules have been reviewed.

The declaration is separate from merely viewing this public Onboarding Centre.

38. Seller Tax & Platform Reporting Acknowledgement

FIA may require a separate Seller Tax & Platform Reporting Acknowledgement where appropriate.

This document may address:

  • tax information supplied by the Seller;

  • reporting information;

  • Seller responsibility for accurate information;

  • potential statutory platform reporting;

  • changes to tax residency or registration;

  • requests for updated documentation; and

  • related recordkeeping.

39. Additional Category Documents

Depending on the Seller or offering, onboarding may also require documents such as:

PART XII — MARKETPLACE OPERATING REQUIREMENTS

40. Fulfilment

Approved Sellers are responsible for fulfilling accepted orders according to the terms represented to the Buyer.

Sellers should be prepared to:

  • provide the correct product;

  • perform the agreed service;

  • meet agreed specifications;

  • communicate material delays;

  • maintain appropriate fulfilment records;

  • respond to legitimate Buyer concerns; and

  • provide evidence of delivery or completion where reasonably required.

See the Marketplace Order, Fulfilment, Cancellation & Refund Standard.

41. Ordinary Buyer Issue Windows

The current ordinary FIA Marketplace issue window is:

Completed Services and Digital Deliverables

7 calendar days from confirmed completion or delivery.

Physical Goods

14 calendar days from confirmed delivery.

Wrong, visibly damaged or missing physical items should be reported promptly and, where reasonably discoverable, ordinarily within 7 calendar days.

These are ordinary Marketplace administration windows and are not intended to eliminate rights that cannot legally be waived.

Potential exceptions may include matters involving:

  • fraud;

  • unauthorized payment;

  • non-delivery;

  • latent defects;

  • applicable warranties;

  • mandatory statutory cancellation rights; or

  • other non-waivable legal rights.

See the Marketplace Buyer Protection & Resolution Policy.

42. Refunds, Chargebacks and Adjustments

Sellers should understand before joining that Marketplace proceeds may be affected by legitimate transaction events including:

  • full refunds;

  • partial refunds;

  • cancellations;

  • payment reversals;

  • chargebacks;

  • transaction corrections;

  • applicable Marketplace fees;

  • applicable Affiliate Campaign Fees; or

  • other adjustments permitted under the applicable Seller arrangement.

Where applicable, these adjustments may create an amount owing or negative Seller balance.

Detailed enforceable mechanics belong in the applicable private Marketplace Seller Agreement.

43. Buyer Protection Cooperation

Marketplace Sellers are expected to cooperate reasonably with Buyer-support and dispute processes.

This may include providing:

  • delivery records;

  • service completion information;

  • communications;

  • photographs;

  • tracking information;

  • scope documents;

  • invoices;

  • refund records; or

  • other relevant evidence.

Sellers must not fabricate evidence or retaliate against a Buyer for raising a legitimate concern.

PART XIII — BUYER INFORMATION AND PRIVACY

44. Buyer Information Is for Legitimate Transaction Purposes

An independent Seller may receive Buyer information reasonably necessary to fulfil an order.

That information may include:

  • Buyer name;

  • contact information;

  • delivery information;

  • appointment information; or

  • other transaction details.

Access to such information does not give the Seller unrestricted marketing rights.

45. No Automatic Marketing Consent

Receiving Buyer contact information through an FIA order does not, by itself, mean the Buyer has consented to unrelated marketing by the Seller.

Sellers are responsible for ensuring their own marketing communications comply with applicable requirements.

Transaction information should be used only for appropriate purposes such as:

  • fulfilling the purchase;

  • customer support;

  • delivery;

  • warranty administration;

  • dispute management;

  • fraud prevention;

  • lawful records; or

  • other legally permitted purposes.

Review FIA’s Privacy Policy for information concerning FIA’s own privacy practices.

46. Seller Information Security

Sellers should maintain reasonable safeguards for Buyer information in their possession or control.

Seller access to Marketplace information must not be used to:

  • sell personal information without authority;

  • improperly disclose customer details;

  • harass Buyers;

  • send unlawful communications; or

  • misuse customer information for unrelated purposes.

PART XIV — REVIEWS, CONTENT AND INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

47. Reviews and Ratings

Marketplace Sellers are subject to FIA’s Reviews & Ratings Policy.

Sellers must not:

  • buy fabricated reviews;

  • use fake customer accounts;

  • punish Buyers for legitimate criticism;

  • require a positive review as a condition of support;

  • threaten Buyers over honest feedback; or

  • manipulate FIA ratings.

Professional responses and legitimate reporting of policy-violating reviews are permitted.

48. Seller Content

Sellers remain responsible for content they provide or approve for publication through FIA.

This includes:

  • descriptions;

  • photographs;

  • videos;

  • logos;

  • trademarks;

  • specifications;

  • advertising claims;

  • promotional materials; and

  • other Seller-supplied information.

Sellers must have appropriate rights to the content they provide.

See the Copyright & Intellectual Property Policy.

49. AI-Assisted Content

AI-assisted tools may be used where permitted, but the Seller remains responsible for the accuracy and legality of final Marketplace content it submits or approves.

AI should not be used to fabricate:

  • reviews;

  • licences;

  • qualifications;

  • product capabilities;

  • customer testimonials;

  • endorsements; or

  • other materially false information.

See Responsible AI & AI Usage Disclosure.

PART XV — APPLICATION REVIEW

50. Possible Onboarding Outcomes

After reviewing an application, FIA may determine that the application is:

  • Approved

  • Conditionally Approved

  • Additional Information Required

  • Under Further Review

  • Not Approved

Approval may be limited to particular:

  • offers;

  • categories;

  • locations;

  • services;

  • products; or

  • Marketplace functions.

FIA does not guarantee approval merely because all requested documents have been submitted.

51. Conditional Approval

FIA may permit approval subject to one or more conditions.

Examples may include:

  • submitting updated insurance;

  • limiting available categories;

  • correcting an offer;

  • completing additional verification;

  • supplying missing documentation;

  • agreeing to category-specific requirements; or

  • satisfying another reasonable Marketplace condition.

Failure to meet applicable conditions may prevent or pause Marketplace selling.

52. FIA Does Not Promise a Fixed Approval Time

The time required to complete onboarding may vary depending on matters such as:

  • completeness of the application;

  • Seller responsiveness;

  • category;

  • document verification;

  • regulatory or licensing requirements;

  • risk review;

  • third-party verification; and

  • additional information requirements.

FIA should not be understood as guaranteeing approval within a fixed period unless a specific written commitment has been provided.

PART XVI — AFTER APPROVAL

53. Marketplace Approval Checklist

Before an independent Seller begins transacting, applicable onboarding may include confirmation that:

  • Seller identity has been reviewed;

  • required business information has been supplied;

  • relevant verification is complete;

  • required licences or permits have been addressed;

  • required insurance information has been addressed;

  • tax/reporting information has been supplied where required;

  • payout details have been established;

  • applicable Seller terms have been accepted;

  • required declarations have been accepted;

  • approved offers are configured;

  • pricing is confirmed;

  • fulfilment terms are documented;

  • cancellation/refund information is configured; and

  • the Seller has received Marketplace approval.

Affiliate Campaign participation, if any, requires separate offer-level approval.

54. Seller Responsibilities Continue After Onboarding

Onboarding is not a one-time exemption from future Marketplace requirements.

Approved Sellers must continue to:

  • keep business information accurate;

  • maintain required licences;

  • maintain required insurance;

  • update offer information;

  • fulfil accepted orders;

  • cooperate with Buyer-support processes;

  • maintain appropriate records;

  • protect Buyer information;

  • comply with FIA policies; and

  • provide updated information when reasonably requested.

55. Material Changes Must Be Reported

Sellers should promptly notify FIA of material changes affecting Marketplace participation.

Examples include:

  • business sale;

  • ownership change;

  • business closure;

  • legal name change;

  • material address change;

  • payout account change;

  • loss of licence;

  • suspension of professional registration;

  • insurance cancellation;

  • significant change to an approved offering;

  • inability to fulfil pending orders; or

  • other material circumstances relevant to Marketplace participation.

FIA may require re-verification before continued selling.

PART XVII — MARKETPLACE ENFORCEMENT

56. Offer Restrictions

FIA may pause, restrict or remove an offer where reasonably necessary because of matters such as:

  • inaccurate information;

  • licensing concerns;

  • insurance issues;

  • prohibited products;

  • serious Buyer complaints;

  • repeated fulfilment problems;

  • intellectual-property concerns;

  • suspected fraud;

  • policy violations; or

  • Marketplace safety concerns.

Corrective information or re-verification may be required before restoration.

57. Seller Suspension or Removal

Marketplace access may be restricted or suspended where reasonably necessary to investigate or respond to serious concerns.

Depending on the circumstances, FIA may:

  • pause new orders;

  • restrict specific offers;

  • suspend Affiliate Campaign participation;

  • request additional documentation;

  • require re-verification; or

  • terminate Marketplace participation where permitted.

Existing obligations relating to Buyers, refunds, chargebacks, fees, records or disputes may survive suspension or termination.

PART XVIII — KEY MARKETPLACE DOCUMENTS

58. Documents Sellers Should Review

Prospective and approved Sellers should review the FIA documents applicable to their activities, including:

A Seller may also be required to accept private Marketplace documents applicable to its participation.

PART XX — SELLER READINESS CHECKLIST

60. Before You Submit Your Seller Application

A prospective independent Seller should be ready to confirm:

  • I am authorized to represent this business.
  • The business information I provide is accurate.
  • I can identify the products or services I want to sell.
  • My pricing is accurate and transparent.
  • I understand FIA’s standard Marketplace fee is 15%.
  • I understand Affiliate Campaign participation is optional and offer-specific.
  • I understand a qualifying Affiliate-attributed sale of an opted-in offer carries an additional 15% Affiliate Campaign Fee.
  • I understand Affiliate Campaign participation does not automatically apply to all my offers.
  • I understand Boosts and Featured Placement are separate optional commercial products.
  • I can meet the fulfilment commitments stated in my offer.
